It doesn’t do you any good to have a map if you don’t know where you are on it.

Knowing where you are in life relative to the big picture can be of great help to you when trying to determine where you’ve come from, where you’re going, in addition to, what you’ll face along the way.

We can only do that by having a healthy perspective of your location. . . Spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally, socially, etc. In order to do this, we must step out amongst the tall trees into a clearing or from high atop of viewpoint and discover where we are in relation to the big picture. Another words, gain some objective perspective.

This can be the most difficult part as our point of view is so real to us, we believe this has to be the only truth. . . until we see where we are located in relationship to the rest of the world.

We can accomplish this by being honest with ourselves and answering the tough questions or with the help from a loved one whom you trust. Either way, the goal is the same: truth.
