We seem to be incorporating a larger swath of past experiences into the mix when determining whether something is relevant to where we are in our lives. Another words, that experience you had when you were 10 when you got lost in the zoo and couldn’t find your family for 30+ minutes, probably skewed the way you view the world. Good or bad.
It’s helpful to understand how we view our lives the way we do and where it came from. Because once we know that, we can begin to determine whether these views are helping us to get where we’re going or detrimental.
After all, we must know where we’re located on the map in order to determine which direction we must travel to reach our destination.
