This is nothing other than diving in and immersing yourself in the project at hand. The only reason anyone would have insight is because they have been exposed to it before. To say that someone has insight on a subject that is new to them is false.
To gain insight is to study that particular subject matter. To become familiar with it. Nothing else. Don’t kid yourself: It takes many hours to become a master at your craft. There are no short cuts. If anyone tells you there are, then run the other direction because they are a charlatan.
It takes time and effort. Period. Yes, you can model the great ones that came before you, but you still have to show up. I’ve heard that it takes 10,000 hours to become a master at a particular craft.
